Buttermilk Biscuits & Gravy
Ingredients
- 1 bag of Cappello's Buttermilk Biscuits
- 1 package of sausage or meatless equivalent
- ¼ cup of your preferred gluten-free flour substitute (we used arrowroot flour)
- 2 ½ cups of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
- Preheat oven to 380
- Place frozen biscuits on a parchment lined baking sheet
- Bake on top rack for 25 minutes (oven temperatures and cook times will vary)
- Cook sausage in a large skillet on medium-medium high heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently
- Stir in gluten-free flour until well combined
- Gradually add in milk and stir until gravy thickens and comes to a boil
- Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes
- Season with salt and pepper to taste
