Buttermilk Biscuits & Gravy


  • 1 bag of Cappello's Buttermilk Biscuits
  • 1 package of sausage or meatless equivalent
  • ¼ cup of your preferred gluten-free flour substitute (we used arrowroot flour)
  • 2 ½ cups of milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 380
  • Place frozen biscuits on a parchment lined baking sheet
  • Bake on top rack for 25 minutes (oven temperatures and cook times will vary)
  • Cook sausage in a large skillet on medium-medium high heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring frequently
  • Stir in gluten-free flour until well combined
  • Gradually add in milk and stir until gravy thickens and comes to a boil
  • Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 minutes
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste
