Buttermilk Biscuit Dough Cinnamon Rolls


  • 1 Bag Cappello's Buttermilk Biscuits 

  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon

  • 2 cup powdered sugar

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 4 tablespoon milk


  • Step 1: Combine melted butter, sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a bowl 

  • Step 2: align and press together Cappellos biscuits into an even flat rectangular shape on a (gluten-free) floured surface.

  • Step 3: Spread the cinnamon sugar mixture over the dough evenly, so all of the surface is covered.

  • Step 4: Starting at the top, roll the dough to form a long log shape, wrap in parchment paper and freeze for 2 hours.

  • Step 5: Cut the dough evenly into 1-inch pieces and assemble in a dish. Bake at 350 for 20 -25 minutes. 

  • Step 6: While baking combine milk, powdered sugar, and vanilla to create icing. Drizzle on top of cinnamon rolls once finished baking.
