Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ small apple, thinly sliced

3 small parsnips, thinly sliced

¼ teaspoon cinnamon

¼ teaspoon smoked paprika

¼ teaspoon kosher salt

1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

2 cooked spicy Italian sausage links, sliced

¼ cup chicken broth
-
2 teaspoons fresh thyme leaves

Red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions

Cook ravioli according to package directions.

In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the apples, parsnips, cinnamon, smoked paprika, salt and pepper, and sauté for 4-5 minutes. Add the sausage and cook 2-3 minutes more.

Gently stir chicken broth into the skillet and remove from heat. Drain ravioli and add to the skillet. Sprinkle with thyme and red pepper flakes and serve immediately.
